Saturday the 1st May Ill. Sir Steve and Lady Heather had the privilege of attending a Hospital fundraiser for Ill. Sir Gilbert and Lady Gail. This was a “Hellenic Evening” put on by Fidelity Chapter No 55 of the Order of the Eastern Star. We were welcomed by the Worthy Matron Ms. Maria Roussakes and were invited to sit at her table along with M.W. Bro. Maurice Kershaw.

The meal was a buffet of delicious Greek food prepared and donated by “ZEUS” restaurant in Dorval. During dessert Maria gave a talk on when her brother was a patient at the Shriners' Hospital. After which she invited me to say a few words on the Shrine and the Hospital. My speech centered around how the Shrine and its Hospitals were founded on Masonic principals.

The door prizes and the raffle prizes were 5 star. Congratulations to Sister Maria and Fidelity Chapter for a great evening.
