The 9th of April, Ill Sir Gilbert Chartier and members of Karnak joined the Grand Master M.W. Bro. Donald Ross and members of Grand Lodge for a visit to Phil-Can Lodge No 137. The reason for this visit was a rarely seen event, the son of R.W. Bro. Noel Mendigorian and the grandson of R.W. Bro. Joel Mendigorian was being initiated into Freemasonry.

The Grand Master had a distinguished delegation of present and past Grand Lodge Officers. The lodge was packed for this occasion and the work of the evening was excellent.

After the lodge meeting the main hall was opened for a feast prepared by the ladies of Phil-Can Lodge.
