The weekend of the 7th and 8th of May Ill. Sir Gilbert Chartier and Lady Gail had their visitation at Karnak. Potentates and Chief Rabbans from the N. S. A. and New York/Ontario, along with other special guests were in town to honour Ill. Sir Gilbert.

Friday night was the "Hawaiian Tiki Party" at Karnak. Everyone attended including a visit from "Elvis" himself. The food was excellent and the music by our favorite D.J. Mike Kennedy kept us dancing into the wee hours.

Saturday was the formal ball at the banquet room of the Holiday Inn in Pointe Claire. The guests were introduced and offered their congratulations to Ill. Sir Gilbert. The meal was excellent and again Mike did an excellent job on the music. During the weekend there was a kidnapping of a monkey. An investigator was hired and the perpetrators were located and confessed.
