I’m taking this opportunity to thank the Karnak Nobility for electing & installing me as Potentate on January 14, 2012.

Lady Diane and I decided to combine the Nobles’ & Ladies’ luncheons, on my “Installation” day; we were 73 strong. Diane asked the invited Ladies to consider donating to the “New Hospital Building Fund”, versus giving gifts; $2,000. + has been raised and still counting. We both thank you, sincerely.

My Installation Dinner/Dance was a very enjoyable evening with 170 Nobles & guests in attendance. The dinner was catered by “Prestige” catering and the music by Chris Blais.

The Divan has been working hard to manage Karnak, as an efficient business and to establish the necessary continuity, along with many changes that will occur during the course of the year, to ensure our future success.

My priority for 2012 is Membership and Fundraising, especially for the New Hospital Building Fund. On January 20, 2012, we installed 7 Units and 2 Clubs at our Annual “Combined Installation & Dinner”. The event was a success with 151 in attendance. On February 25, 2012, there will be a full day “Seminar” for ALL Nobles, which will include presentations on “membership”, “protocol”, Circus, Shrine “Bowl”, Sports Celebrities Dinner (10th Ann.), “Plaque” program, Kartem ”Draw”, Divan responsibilities, and much, much more. This seminar is under the direction of Ill. Sirs John Hawkins and John McDonald.
